About
A Lee firm, working where we live.
Our story
Two practices that grew up together.
Berkshire Engineering, Inc. started in Lee designing septic systems and water supplies for homeowners and small towns. Over two decades, the systems we designed needed someone to run them.
Housatonic Basin Sampling & Testing (HBST) is our water-operations division: licensed operators, compliance sampling and reporting for public water systems across the Berkshires and Pioneer Valley.
Today the two work as one team. When an operator spots a problem, the engineer who can fix it is down the hall.
