Accessibility statement

Berkshire Engineering, Inc. and Housatonic Basin Sampling & Testing want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. That includes:

• Text alternatives for images.
• Every page and menu usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Labels on every form field.
• Text and background colors with enough contrast to read.
• A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.

Water reports

Water quality reports and monitoring waivers are PDFs prepared for each water system. If a report isn't readable with your assistive technology, contact us and we'll get you the information in a format that works for you.
